State School's Relief - Year 7 Uniform InitiativeThis free uniform pack is for all students entering Year 7, in a Victorian government school who is a recipient of the Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF).
This is part of the expansion of the State Schools' Relief program.
Please note SSR no longer provide assistance for school text books. However, they still offer scientific calculators accessed through the secondary school.
These packs can be applied for from 1st December 2016 by contacting the secondary school the child will be attending. For families who have already purchased a summer uniform for the start of the year, they are entitled to a winter package, available in 2017.

Beyond 18: The Longitudinal Study on Leaving Care is a long-term research project about the lives of young people in out-of-home care and their experiences of leaving care in Victoria. It is the first of its kind to be conducted in Victoria.
The purpose of the study is to inform government policy in supporting more effective transitions for young people from out-of-home care. In particular, it will aim to improve young people’s move towards interdependent relationships and eventual independence by:
Providing insights into the critical success factors associated with transition from out-of-home care
Proposing ways of enhancing out-of-home care
Proposing improvements in the transition from care
Proposing improvements post transition from care
