AHURI's latest research and policy bulletin, 'The economic benefits of providing public housing and support to formerly homeless people', explores the benefits of providing social housing and support for people experiencing homelessness under the National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness. Research has found that providing stable housing and support is effective in reducing the use of health care services among people who were formerly homeless, and yields potential cost savings to government.
