Your right to choose who you marry and when you get married is protected by Australian law. For those with concerns information and support is available.

Though this program is based in NSW, the support offered is Australia wide. Offering a confidential advice line, accommodation and case management in Australia's only safe house for women 18yrs and over who have experienced trafficking and slavery. Peer support and community training and education is also available.

For those in immediate danger of being married or taken overseas for marriage, contact the Australian Federal Police on 131 AFP or (02) 9277 0540 or 0408 819 925 after 5pm and weekends.
