LifeCare Women's Centre is part of Crossway LifeCare, a community services organisation passionate about helping people in tough places flourish.
LifeCare provides help for:
• relationship issues
• depression and anxiety
• domestic violence
• addictions
and other challenging life situations.
We are happy to let you know that the LifeCare Women’s Centre has reopened on Wednesday, 8th February. We have greater capacity than ever before to help women who are disadvantaged, isolated and affected by domestic violence. Your referrals to our program are invited and appreciated. Through collaboration and partnership together, we can enable and empower them and their children to rebuild their lives with a great hope for the future.
Our day program for Term 1 will be run every Wednesday:
9:30 – 10:30 Connection Time - Arts and Crafts (or just a chat and cuppa if preferred)
10:30 – 10:45 Relaxation and Mindfulness Exercise
10:45 – 11:00 Morning Tea
11:00 – 12:30 Therapeutic Support Groups*
12:30 – 1:00 BYO Lunch
*Run by professional counsellors. This is the core activity for this holistic program. Groups available in English and Chinese.
Children are welcome and will be taken care of by professional and volunteer children workers.

A message from Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC)
ECLC has been operating its Tenancy Advice and Advocacy Program since 2012, mainly funded by Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV).
Recently, CAV made significant changes to this program and will no longer be funding ECLC for this work and has allocated funding to another agency. ECLC is therefore regrettably closing its tenancy program from July 1, 2017. The exception is for Deakin University students who will continue to receive tenancy assistance through the Sort It partnership.
